Chitwan National Park is a very famous National Park in Nepal which is not so far from Kathmandu. It is about 5 hours drive by the bus and about 25 minutes fly from Kathmandu.
It is a rich natural area in the Plain area of Nepal. A total of 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish have been recorded in the park. The park is especially renowned for its protection of One Horned Rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial Crocodile. Some of the trip highlights would be:

Day 1: Drive or Fly from Kathmandu
Day 2: Zeep Safari/ Elephant ride. Canoying, Tharu Cultural Dance
Day 3: Elephant breeding Centre, Tharu Museum, Wildlife Museum , A village Walk.
Day 4: Bus to Kathmandu
